Appointed Managing Director of Murray Consultants in 2005, Pat joined the agency in 1997. Pat combines his management role with strategic client service support across corporate and investor relations as well as issues management and corporate restructuring.

Sectoral experience includes finance, media, energy and environment and technology. He advises several publicly quoted companies, semi-state organisations and professional services firms.

A Business Studies graduate of the University of Limerick, he specialised in accountancy and financial services. He also holds a first class honours Diploma from the PRII. Prior to joining Murray Consultants Pat worked with Kerry Group plc, Glanbia plc and SWS.

Joe has advised many of Ireland's leading publicly quoted, semi-state and private enterprises across a wide spectrum of business activity including financial, food, energy, natural resources, technology, construction and retail.

He has also advised public bodies, professional and sector interest groups. He has over 30 years experience as an advisor to Irish and international enterprises and is recognised as one of the leading communications professionals in Ireland.

He is a former Business Editor of a national daily and a national Sunday newspaper. A graduate in Economics and Social Science, he founded Murray Consultants with Jim Milton in 1974.

Pauline McAlester handles a range of national and international clients including Ryanair, United Drug, Providence Resources plc and TVC Holdings.

She has extensive experience in corporate public relations, media relations, crisis management and event management. A graduate of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, Pauline joined Murray Consultants in 1987 and was appointed Director in 2001.

Pauline has extensive media experience throughout Ireland, the UK and internationally, at a local, regional and national level, building very solid media relationships with broadcast, wire and print media.

Mark leads Murray Consultants' Public Affairs service, representing the company's clients to national and local government and to other regulatory and public bodies.

He also specialises in public information campaigns and gives general public relations advice to a range of public and private sector clients.

During 20 years as a journalist he served as Chief Political Correspondent, Northern Editor, Deputy News Editor and Foreign Affairs Correspondent of The Irish Times. He won four national journalism awards during his career and developed relationships and earned respect across the political spectrum and within the public service. He has a degree in Economics and Politics from UCD.

Ed Micheau joined Murray Consultants in 2006, having previously spent 13 years as a financial journalist, seven of which were spent with The Sunday Business Post. He worked for that newspaper both as Business Correspondent and Markets Correspondent. A regular contributor to a number of radio shows, he also worked as Markets Editor at Business & Finance magazine and at the business desk of The Australian newspaper in Sydney.

At Murray Consultants, Ed works across a range of corporate and financial accounts including a number of publicly quoted companies, professional firms and industry companies. Ed regularly undertakes specific project work including takeover battles, crisis and issue management, and client appearances before the Public Accounts Committee. He also specialises in legal actions which has involved him in a number of high profile cases in the High Court and Supreme Court, and in company restructurings including examinerships and insolvencies.

Grainne is a former journalist and radio producer. She has a proven track record in devising successful, creative and fully integrated PR Programmes for corporate and consumer clients. She also has specific expertise in crisis management.

Grainne has experience across a number of sectors including retail, financial services, food and nutrition, healthcare, hospitality and leisure. As a former Press Officer for Macra na Feirme, Grainne has excellent media management skills and contacts. She joined Murray Consultants in 1998 and has over 15 years experience working in the communications industry.

A native of Sligo, Grainne has a BA in Media Studies and History from the University of Ulster, and a H. Dip. in Journalism and PR from UCG. She also has a Diploma in Applied Finance (IMI) and is a full member of the PRII.

David Linnane has many years of Marketing, PR and Sports Management experience.

He is an Associate Director of the company which he joined in 1993. Formerly a Brand and Sponsorship Manager for P. J. Carroll, the Tobacco Company and later the Marketing Manager for Carlsberg in Ireland, he has an intimate understanding of brand marketing.

He was the Tournament Director for the Irish Open Golf Championship from 1990 to 2007 where he developed his event management, communication and negotiation expertise. An integral part of his portfolio of skills is the management of local stakeholder relationships, including gardai, local authorities, communities and commercial partners.

With over six years' agency experience, Avril has been the recipient of two PRCA Awards for Excellence in Communication for her work in the areas of consumer PR and issues management.

Ann Dunne is Company Secretary of Murray Consultants. A central part of the Murray Consultants team, she has wide ranging experience across all areas of the business. With the Company over 23 years, she has a Diploma in Management & Employee Relations from the National College of Ireland and a Certificate in Irish Company Secretarial Practice and Share Registration Practice from The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Joe provides corporate public relations and public affairs advice most notably to clients in the energy, exploration and environmental services sectors.

The youngest person ever to serve as a Chief Executive of an Irish Chamber of Commerce, assuming that role with Monaghan Chamber at age 23.  Joe subsequently ran his own communications consultancy in the Border Region before joining Murray Consultants in 2007.

Joe Holds a BA in Political Science from Trinity College Dublin and a first class honours MA in Public Affairs and Political Communication from the Dublin Institute of Technology.  He is a Director of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, a former Director of Chambers Ireland and an Ambassador for the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

Aoibheann has been with the company for the past five years and concentrates on corporate PR, public information campaigns, public affairs and community relations activities.

Aoibheann has a proven track record in devising and implementing successful public information campaigns and was instrumental in the recent public information campaign on behalf of the Referendum Commission on the Lisbon Treaty. She has managed national awards programmes and carried out internal and external communications audits for clients. She has extensive media relations experience including in crisis situations.

Originally from Cork, Aoibheann has a keen interest in politics and current affairs.  Prior to joining Murray Consultants she spent four years working with the National Treasury Management Agency.  She has also worked with D'Arcy Smyth & Associates in public affairs and research areas. Aoibheann has a BA in Marketing from the Dublin Business School.
