Account Manager, MCsquared

The role requires a highly organised individual who is capable of working on their own initiative, can identify and pitch new campaign ideas for clients as well as effectively plan client events with great attention to detail, and implement results-driven brand communications initiatives.

The individual must have strong management and organisational skills and have the professionalism to communicate and interact with clients, media and suppliers on a daily basis. They must have a keen interest in the area of FMCG communications, ideally in the area of telecommunications / consumer technology, and proven expertise in the creation of strong consumer-focussed public relations campaigns.

Pre-requisites
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
• Solid consumer / brand agency experience (a minimum of 4 years)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent media relations skills
• Proven creativity
• Previous people management experience
• Experience of managing projects
• The ability to forge and develop good relationships with your client and team members.
• Proven track record of delivery of brand objectives and understanding of brand values
• High level of drive and determination to achieve outstanding levels of media coverage on behalf of your client
• Good time management skills.
• An ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
